Haitian Paintings by Victor Jean-Claude

Victor Jean-Claude had a short career as a painter. He was a charming naive. His paintings started appearing in Haiti at the Galerie Issa in 1998. Evidently he was first a maker of drapeau- Vodou flags. He appears to be influenced by P.L. Riche.

Sadly, Victor died suddenly in 2004.
