Zephirin says: "The men in the boat, Haitian Democracy, say they will help the man in the water but they are pushing him under to save themselves. the boat is small and has no sail or rudder and the sea is full of dangerous things: The crocodiles and the shark swimming in bloody waters symbolize the political parties.

* Zephirin says" Four Baron Samedis flank Grand Bois. Two of the Barons have their backs turned.; they represent Aristide and Rene Preval. Grand Bois represents the Haitian people, who are beginning to drown as the water level rises. The two Barons who face us are praying the rosary for the salvation of the Haitian people.
