This is Room 24A . A Haitian painting by Joseph Cameau.

Joseph Cameau was born in Port-au-Prince in 1948. He studied with the impressionist master Calixte Henri. I have been told that he is the brother of the also-talented knife painter, Cameau Rameau but am always confused by the Haitian habit of reversing first and last names. This is a charming estate piece from the late 1980's when Joseph's work was fresh and original.
