This is Room 94 . A painting by the artist, Eddy Valmont.
I have always assumed that Eddy Valmont was a Northern School painter, based on his style. Recently I have learned that he is actually from the south, from Port Salut. near Cayes. In any event his paintings are superb. He is an expert technician and a keen observer of life in rural Haiti. |
