Haitian Art by Yosephat Tissaint.

Tissaint was born in Port-au-Prince around 1965.
He studied with Prefete Duffaut and painted the same subject as Duffaut, imaginary villages
early in his career but gradually migrated to painting beautiful jungle paintings.
He also paints richly detailed iconic portraits of Erzulie that resemble images of Our Lady of Perpetual Help,
and images of La Sirene, consort to Agoue, Lord of the Sea.
