We feel fortunate to have access to a wonderful collection of Haitian Art that was assembled during the1970's and 1980's by Elizabeth Peltz, a marine biologist who worked at Scripps Institute in La Jolla California. The Collection was exhibited in 1994 at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. The quality of the paintings indicates to me that Mrs. Peltz and her husband had excellent taste and great connections in Haiti.
AS of February 24, 2012, we no longer have access to the Peltz Collection. Godspeed Dear Brigit |
